Of course, everyone who is going to read it already knows... but that's a moot point. I just thought, what would transformers be like if they came into our generation, but still holding true to the comics and the profiles on the toys... The real deal. So here's where it starts. Oh please, Do not post in here, you will just ruin the layout... if you wish to comment you can leave such a one in the topic in Shifting Gears until such a time as i have a Reply topic set up. Its position is third from the sun, and its population is currently zero. But it is about to be populated… Far above the barren planet a wrecked ship floats; orange, of make unknown. The cause of its dormancy seems to be the gaping hole in its side. All around the ship drifts the debris of yet another ship; purple, seemingly of the same make. And yet although the ships are dormant, they are not dead. The voices seem to drift from the midst of time itself; past, present, and future; and this is what we hear: SCREEECH! "Prime! We're being boarded!!" Dare we say that we can see the image of a white figure amongst the wreck? Yes, I dare we say we can. "But… we have no boarding dock!" The figure to be called as a small insectiod sputtered his objection. "That's the problem!" comes the reply. "Show me!" "Decepticon boarders!" Now the images are muddled, coming too fast, we barely have time to recognize the portrayers… "Aah!" Shots can be heard across the hall. "DIE PRIME!" "NOOOO!! Wheeljack!" "Stupid imbecile, you got in my way." "Megatron. Prepare to pay up." Clashes echo through the wrecked ship. Though the battle goes on, the others seem muted in tribute to this great confrontation. "Ahh!" "Gah!" "Ohh! Cries of pain come, as they dual it together. "I have you now Prime!" "Prime! Look out!" BOOM! An explosion rocks the ship leaving smoke in its path. "You destroyed the Computer!" "What does it matter to me," Megatron rages, "I have my own ship." SCREEECH! "What was that?" "Your ship." Wheeljack replies… "I thought I killed you!" "You did. Just now, destroying the computer destroys the navigation system. We're flying blind. There is no way to know where we are going. Although, from what I can see and from the separation of your ship, it probably means a big gravity pull. We are crashing into the nearest planet." Sure enough the ship had entered the atmosphere careening serenely to its destruction. "Megatron, You've killed us all!" "What does it matter?... As long as you're dead!" "NOOOOO!!!" This time the screechy voice came from yet another bot. "Starscream! What are you doing?!" "I will not let you! I don't wanna die!" "Get off!" "Face it Megatron, you are dead. we ALL are." "Then I will enjoy watching you die before I go." The maniacal laughter echoes up through ship, the world, and all of creation… And then there was silence.

The sound continues as rumbling dust fills the air. As the image fades to black and white a voice gives the overview. //We are now looking at Mt. McKinley. As you can see, the volcanic eruption is causing quakes all along the Oregon border. This is the first time it has erupted so since the memorable occasion in 1984.// The voice trails off, only to be replaced by the rhythmic sound of a turning wrench. A sign on the wall reads "Sparkplug's Oilshack." The man's name is William Witwicky. His friends know him only as Sparkplug. As usual, he was found under the chassis of a car. But then came a creak very different than that of a wrench. Sparkplug groans. "Ohh, my back. I'm getting too old for this." As if in cruel irony to this statement the sound of pattering feet on the stairs (and the walls) is heard. SLAM! The feet hit the garage floor. Sparkplug groans for the second time that day, as he hits his head on the chassis in suprise. Muffling a curse, he pulls himself out from under the car. "What have I told you about jumping down the stairs?" "To not to." "Then don't!" "Sorry, Pops." Buster, Sparkplug's son, feeling sorry for himself; plunges on with what he wanted to do anyway. "Pops?" "Hmm?" "'O' and the guys are going to the movies, you know, tonight. And they wanted to know if I could go along." "You finish your homework?" "Yes." "Do you chores?" "Yeah." A sigh escapes from the fathers mouth. It was coming down to this, it always came down to this, but he didnt care. His son was just as impatient as he was when he was younger, and would lie to get his way."What's the rating?" "It's only PG-13. You know, not- nothing bad." "What time you going to be home?" "'round ten o' so." The sigh comes again. "Okay, but if youre later, you're grounded for a week you hear me!?" "Thanks Pops!" Comes the only reply as he runs out to the waiting car. He knew he'd be able to go, he always did. And as he ran, his father took the time to cherish the sight. "Ahh." Another sigh. "If only you could see him Mary. He's such your son, full of energy and laughter..." A tear comes to his eye as he thinks about his dead wife. "But you can't." Sparkplug looks long, as the car drives away. The enclosure, undisturbed for 10,000 years, was now being shaken quite easily from the rumbling mountain which housed its secrecy. Amid the shuttling dust comes a whirr and a click, preceeding a light flaring out to dimly shine on the open space. There was destruction all around, what events could have caused the gaping holes in the chunks of metal on the ground? But the bot was not concerned with any of this.
