the combat will be decided in the most fair way possible. i will count the number of letters in each characters name. i will roll a 6-sided dice. if it is 1, 2, or 3, the lower lettered-person wins. if it is 4, 5, or 6, the one with the most letters wins.

i pictured it in my head as most of the combat will be turn-based. one thread per duel. this way they can take as long as they need for the fight and not hold other duels up. DN, this will let you think about your next move before you type it.

each thread will be a different location with various objects you can interact with - throw them hide behind them, blwo them up, whatever you want. each location will have disadvantages and advantages .... unless I brainfreeze and can't think of enough good ones.


i recommend in the meantime you think about your character(s), in depth. his/her weapons, equipment, abilities, and so on.
then ... make a list of 10 offensive moves, and 10 defense moves for your character(s). not just hit punch slash duck run. I mean, moves that are specific to your character.

for instance, Starcrosser is fast so his defensive move if you try to hit him or kick him might be to turn with the blow, grab your hand, and throw you ... kungfu style.

yes, his kung fu is better than your kung fu.

the one at the CA sucked, and the LOC rocks. that is the difference! but if you don't want to be part of the cool kids, you can go eat at the kiddie table :p
