She felt like she'd been running for hours, maybe hours to no end. As much as she hated to say it, it felt like she'd been running in circles. It could've been worse if she'd just find Starscream and get those weapons back before it was too late.
She finally came a cliff. "So I haven't been running in circles," she mumbled to herself as she spread her wings and leapt down. She landed with a loud thud before she heard someone speaking, someone calling out to Sideways about getting the Requeim Blaster and the Skyboom Shield. "Thrust!" she growled as she ran in the direction until she found him and (to her surprise) Starscream. "Starscream!" she heard someone call.
Turning her golden head towards the voice, she saw Alexis and the other kids with their Minicon partners. "Alexis!" Starscream cried. Spiritimus hid herself before she could be noticed by anyone and she watched.
Thrust pointed the Requiem Blaster at the children before she saw Starscream rush forward to stop him, but Thrust pointed it at him and blasted him into a million pieces. "STARSCREAM!" Alexis cried. Then the whole world went white.
Spiritimus saw everything rewind and it returned to the event before Thrust fired the Requiem Blaster. Taking that moment, she charged towards him and transformed to her dragon mode. Snarling, her silver teeth clamped down on Thrust's legs.
Starscream rushed forward again and he grabbed the Blaster. "Let go!" Thrust cried, both in pain and in rage. The Blaster let off a bang and a huge beam of purple energy shot out of its muzzle. The beam shot towards the ceiling and blasted a huge hole right through it.
The area started shaking and tones of rubble fell everywhere. Thrust took that moment to escape while Spiritimus and Starscream sheilded the children with their bodies. Spiritimus wrapped her wings around Starscream and the rubble bounced off harmlessly off her wings. She guessed that the sacrifice that Fireblast made increased her wings strength by making them strong enough to shield her from anything if she concentrated hard enough.
When everything settled down, Spiritimus and Starscream pushed the rubble off their bodies and shook the remaining bits off. Alexis looked up at them. "Thanks you guys!" she said. Starscream smiled before he took off down the passage way. "Wait! Starscream!" Spiritimus cried.
"Hey!"
All of them turned and found Hotshot and Wheeljack racing towards them. "Hotshot, you're okay!" Carlos cried happily and hugged Hotshot's leg. "What's with him?" Hotshot asked Spiritimus. The dragoness just smiled and shrugged.
------------------------------
"Tell me this again Rad, Why'd you come here to Cybertron?" Hotshot asked. "Because we came here to rescue the Minicons, we weren't much help on the Autobot ship, so we figured you guys could use it," Rad answered once they'd explained their reason to the three Autobots.
Hotshot shrugged and he turned to Spiritimus, he had a serious look on his face. "Why'd you leave us?" he asked. Spiritimus' face turned serious too. "I left you because I thought I could get ahead and catch Thrust before he would deliever the Skyboom Shield and the Requiem Blaster to Unicron.Since I'm the commander in my time, I expect you to respect my descisions," she growled. "Ok! Ok!" Hotshot cried.
"What'd she mean by another time?" Wheeljack asked. Hotshot looked at him. "She came from another timeline, she's Optimus' daughter and is the leader of the Autobots in the future," he explained. "HOTSHOT!" Spiritimus screamed. "There was no need to tell a Decepticon that!" she cried. "Take it easy, he's on our side," Hotshot said. "Very well," Spiritimus sighed.
Deciding to change the subject, Wheeljack spoke. "Is Starscream still after, Thrust?" he asked. "Yes, so let's go after him!" Carlos cried. "It's far too dangerous for you humans," said Hotshot. "Hotshot, it must be my descision," Spiritimus warned. "Sorry," Hotshot mumbled.
Shaking her head, Spiritimus looked down at the children. "I agree with Hotshot, it's too dangerous for you, but I believe Optimus will allow it," she said. Hotshot looked at her in surprise. "Don't look at me like that, Hotshot," she said, catching his look. "Alright!" Carlos cried. "As long as you stick close to us. Understand?" she warned. "Yup! Come on Sureshock! Let's go!" he said as Sureshock transformed to skateboard mode and Carlos climbed on.
He was about to go forward when a taloned hand gently grabbed the tuff of his suit and lifted him up. "Hey! Put me down!" he cried as he struggled. "Cool it," Hotshot said sarcastically as he turned his com-link on.
The face of Optimus and Red Alert appeared, they both looked concerned and worried.
Sighing, Rad spoke. "Optimus, we're really sorry, but the Minicons really need our help on Cybertron," he explained. "Please try to understand, Optimus. We're willing to do whatever it takes to save the Minicons," Alexis said.
"We've got work to do! Come on, let us go, Optimus!" Carlos cried. "So do they have your permission, father?" Spiritimus asked. Optimus nodded. "Very well, you're good to go, but I don't want you to do anything too risky. Understood?" he asked. Rad, Carlos and Alexis nodded. "Take care of them, Hotshot and Spirit," Optimus said. "Hey they're in good hands, don't worry," Hotshot answered and he switched the com-link off.
------------------------------
"I guess this is where Thrust and Starscream went through," said Hotshot as Wheeljack put his hand through the strange warp gate. Spiritimus took a step forward and took a whiff of it. "It doesn't smell dangerous, but it looks like we'll in be in for a wild ride," she said and she lowered her body. "Climb on my back, it'd be easier for you that way," she said. They nodded and climbed on her back.
Alexis pulled something from her pocket. "What's that, Alexis?" Hotshot asked. "It's a good luck charm," she answered. Spiritimus knew what it was, but she said nothing. "Let's go, we've wasted enough time," Wheeljack said as he went in with Hotshot right behind him and Spiritimus on his tail pipe.
------------------------------
The three Autobots, kids and Minicons landed on the ground and Spiritimus caught a disgusting scent. The stentch smelt of death and rotten metal. She turned her head in that direction and saw a dead Transformer covered in metal and organic material. The kids freaked out at the sight. "Where are we?" Hotshot asked. "Some kind of Transformer graveyard," Spiritimus answered. Suddenly they heard evil laughter.
"That's Sideways laughter!" Hotshot cried and they heard familar grunting. "Starscream's struggling. We have to help him! Come on!" Alexis cried as she climbed on Grindor and they rushed off towards the sound. "Come back!" Spiritimus called. "Come on, let's go!" Wheeljack said as he raced off with Spiritimus and Hotshot right behind him.
"Starscream!" Alexis cried. Starscream turned in her direction and saw Spiritimus and the others right behind Alexis. "Hang on! We're coming!" Hotshot cried. "No don't!" Starscream called. "Stay back!" "What are those things?" Alexis asked. "You kids stay here!" Spiritimus said.
"Botspyders!" Wheeljack exclaimed. "Forget about me, I can handle these things! Just get the Skyboom Shield and the Requiem Blaster," Starscream said as he continued to shield himself from the Botspyders. "We can't leave him like that!" said Hotshot, looking worried. "Do as he says, Hotshot!" Spiritimus said.
"The bot parasites will make a meal out of you!" Sideways laughed. "Don't count on it, Sideways. We'll squash them just like we'll squash you!" Hotshot growled. "I doubt it," Sideways answered sarcastically. "If you hand over the Skyboom Shield and the Requiem Blaster, we'll go easy on you, Sideways," Wheeljack warned. "If you want them, come and get them!" Thrust laughed. "Somehow I knew you were going to say that. Let's get 'em guys!" Spiritimus hissed. "Right behind ya!" Hotshot answered.
"Come on out my long-legged friends, its feeding time!" Sideways called as he lifted his hand and those Botspyders appeared out of no where. Thrusting his arm forward, the Botspyders flew towards them like ants coming from an anthill.
Spiritimus snarled and she jumped back, she felt the stings as the creatures latched on to her body and began sucking the strength right out of her. Growling, she opened her mouth and started biting at the threat and even blew bits of flames, incinerating almost a quarter of the Botspyders They lunged at her again before she let loose her new silver and gold flames, getting the whole lot. She turned and watched the fight between the others.
Hotshot and Wheeljack linked backs and spun like crazy, eliminating every one of their Botspyders with ease. Seeing Perceptor getting attacked by those vines, they destroyed them with ease, freeing the Minicon from the deadly creatures. Unlinking, they gave each other the fist and Spiritimus and the children approached them. "Good work youse two," she praised. "We should get going now," Hotshot said. "Wait!"
Everyone turned and saw Alexis. "Starscream's still being attacked!" she cried. "Go on without me, I'll catch up! Stop Sideways!" Starscream cried. "Let's move out then," Wheeljack said as he, Hotshot and the boys left. Grindor offered Alexis a ride, but she didn't hop on. Spiritimus also stayed behind, know what was instore for them.
Starscream raced off away from the Botspyders and he leapt into the air, twisting his body to face the creatures and used his chest guns to destroy them all. He got up steadily and saw Spiritimus and Alexis, why hadn't they left?
He approached the two. "Why are you still waiting for me?" he asked. "Because you're our friend," Alexis answered. "I'm your friend?" Starscream asked in confusion. "That's right, you're our friend. That means we have to look out for each other," Spiritimus answered. "Look out for each other?" Spiritimus and Alexis noded at the same time as Alexis climbed on to Grindor. "Come on let's go!"
------------------------------
"Come on you guys!" Alexis cried as Spiritimus and Starscream raced after the others. Suddenly the ground began to shake. Giant orange vines came out from the walls and headed straight towards the humans. In her fury, Spiritimus let loose of her flames, incinerating them all. "Thanks Spirit!" Hotshot cried. "My pleasure!"
Spiritimus suddenly caught whiff of a horrible stentch and she turned her head and saw a horrible purple liquid heading right towards them. "Move it!" she cried. "It's a trap!" Wheeljack shouted as the opening was closed over by walls. Another door opened and they all rushed through. "Come you guys!" Alexis cried as she went through and Spiritimus and Starscream followed right behind her.
Just as they were about to catch up with Wheeljack and Hotshot, their way was blocked by the closing walls. "This can't get any worse," Alexis mumbled. Starscream lashed out and three more vines were added to the pile. The stentch was growing worse, and it was terrifying! Ugh!
"We're getting out of here! Climb aboard!" Starscream said as he offered a hand to Alexis. Nodding, Alexis and Grindor climbed on to Starscream's hand. "Hang on tight," Starscream warned as he flew over the purple liquid with Spiritimus right behind him. The stentch far more worse than before.
------------------------------
They'd been flying for only a short while before Alexis turned on her phone (whatever it is). "Rad, I'm here with Spiritimus and Starscream. We had some close calls, but we're okay now. We'll see you at the top side," she said and switched it off.
Suddenly two vines came out and knocked Alexis' necklace off. "My necklace!" she cried. She turned to Starscream. "Please Starscream, we have to stop so I can get it," she said. "No way, it's not safe," Starscream answered. "But without that necklace, we'll never be safe down here. We just have to stop!" Alexis protested. "I'm sorry, I can't do that," Starscream said. "But I need it!" Alexis said and she jumped off of Starscream's shoulder. "Come back!"
Alexis rolled into a ball and raced off towards her necklace. Grindor jumped off of Starscream and rushed towards her. "Hurry! Grab her!" Spiritimus called. Picking up her necklace and standing up, more vines appeared and grabbed Grindor.
Snarling, Spiritimus flew towards the vines and flamed them, but not with too much force in case she might harm the Minicon. Picking them up, Starscream flew off and Spiritimus followed just in time before her tail was hit by the purple liquid on her arrow tipped tail.
Screaming in pain, she quickly set her body into repair mode. She caught up with Starscream and she saw Alexis hug Grindor. "I guess that necklace means alot to you," Starscream said. "Yeah, it's very special to me," Alexis answered as she put the necklace back on. "It was made from some kind of rock I found back on planet Cybertron."
Starscream nodded and he looked at Spiritimus. "You okay?" he asked. "Don't worry about me, my body's already in repair mode," Spiritimus answered. Nodding, Starscream looked ahead. "Good. I see a way out."
------------------------------
As Spiritimus and Starscream got through a crack, the moon started to shake up intensivly. "I don't believe what I am seeing," Starscream exclaimed. "the moon's crumbling." "Actually, you don't want to believe it." Starscream looked at Spiritimus. "Whadda you mean?" he asked. "That's not a moon. It's Unicron," she answered. The moon sprouted horns and most of the rock surrounding it, broke off.
They spotted Jetfire and he swooped down and grabbed Wheeljack and Hotshot. "You guys have really put on some weight!" Jetfire complained. "The moon was him all along?" Starscream asked. "He must've been spying on us on planet Cybertron the whole time," Jetfire replied.
Sighing, the five Transformers flew off back to Cybertron.
------------------------------
"This is the end of the line for me, Hotshot," Wheeljack said after Jetfire dropped him and Hotshot to go help other Transformers. "Whadda you mean?" Hotshot asked. "I'm saying I enjoyed battling along side with you but I'm moving on," Wheeljack answered. "We'll meet again... on the battlefield. Later." He then turned and walked away. "Wait a minute!" Hotshot cried, but Wheeljack ignored him. "Starscream!"
Hotshot and Spiritimus turned and saw Starscream walking away. "Don't go! Stay with us!" Alexis cried. "We could really use your help right now." "You know she's right, Starscream. How about joining us?" Hotshot asked.
Starscream came to a halt. "I'll have to pass, I don't want to risk betraying you a second time. It wouldn't be fair," he answered. "I know you wouldn't do that. You wouldn't betray your friends, would you?" Alexis asked. Starscream thought for a moment before he turned around slowly.
"I'm not sure. I'm not sure of anything anymore," he said softly while Spiritimus and Alexis looked at him. "You trusted me Alexis, and I thankyou for that." Turning around again, the blue seeker then left and Alexis clutched her necklace. "Oh Starscream," she whispered.
Spiritimus looked onward, knowing that this was the last time that anyone but Optimus and Galvatron were ever going to see him again. "Take care Starscream, I promise I'll always love your son. Forever," she whispered.
